Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned makeup connoisseur, these eyeshadow palettes can work for just about anyone. They’re pigmented, high quality, and have a shade range to create just about any look! A few key tips when working with eyeshadows are to always start with a primer or base (such as concealer), always start with a lighter shadow and build up to the darkest for smoother blending, and just have fun! After all it’s just makeup so any mistakes can be easily fixed or wiped away and it’s through those mistakes that you learn and grow your skill. Practice, give yourself time to play, and don’t be afraid to try new things. Makeup is an art and a form of expression, so just do you!
Juvia’s Place Palettes
I love these palettes because they have a lot of fun bright colors as well as neutral ones. I like keeping brighter colors like this in my kit for deeper skin tones as they tend to really pop against their skin and not look chalky or muddy.
Morphe x Jaclyn Hill Palettes
These palettes are definitely in my top favorites for my kit and myself. They’re creamy, blend like a dream, and are super pigmented. The color range allows me to create any look that my clients want with just these palettes. Definitely a good palette to have in your collection!
Makeup By Mario Master Palettes
These I actually got as a gift from my sweet brother-in-law. I was so impressed (but also not surprised) with how good these are! I mean, Mario Dedivanovic created them so I wouldn’t expect any less. 🙂 These are another kit staple and perfect for everyday looks as well as bridal!
Anastasia Beverly Hills Eyeshadows
I could not talk about eyeshadows without including the OG of creamy, pigmented shadows. ABH has always had one of my favorite shadow formulas and you really can not go wrong with any of their palettes. They also make for great gifts and will forever be a staple in your collection!
Dominique Cosmetics Transition Palette
This all matte palette is fairly new and one I’ve been using for about 2 months now. It is perfect for everyday wear and creating natural, neutral toned looks. The shadows aren’t AS pigmented as ones I mentioned before but are definitely still noteworthy as they blend smoothly and have every transition shade you’d probably ever need! I love how versatile this palette is to wear alone or paired with other shadows.
These are definitely not the only good eyeshadow palettes out there but I do find myself reaching for and using these the most. So whenever you see a makeup look on my Instagram I can almost guarantee I used one of these palettes!
